Moran House Grand Staircase Historic Millwork

The interior millwork inside the Moran House is a true masterpiece of historic carpentry. The grand staircase in the main hallway features beautiful, custom hand-turned wooden balusters and a massive, solid oak handrail. When you look closely at the structural joints, you can actually see the wooden dowels and traditional mortise-and-tenon construction used by the original builders instead of modern metal screws.
